"On Saturday April 13th and the weekend of the 26th/27th the team was busy with their latest creation... the CHURCH! Constructed over these 3 days, and with many man hours invested, the team designed and built from scratch a very dominating and somewhat intimidating structure that will be a highlight for many peoples play for years to come. The church boasts 8 cathedral style windows, a large main entryway, a man door for additional access and a steeple built with the "sniper" in mind. The steeple can hold 2 people and has three different firing points and excellent field of views. Don't forget to look at the finishing touches of the Cross at the top of the steeple and a partially colasped roof complete with roofing materials.

The inaugural game was on Sunday the 27th where a few members of the team, and some lucky walk on players, tried out the this new field for the first time. The team typically played the attacker for most of the games and was completly eliminated during the very first one- OUCH! But after putting on the game face, rubbing some dirt on the wounds and re-evaluated the plan...
things came together with much more predicatble results. The keys?
Neutralize the steeple with suppression fire, manuver on the back side of the ridge to close within 40ft of the structure, and use a second team to split the enemy fire. Some great games and some good guys new to Alberta from Ontario provided the main competition. We hope to see them again at a Bugstompers designed Big Game."
