So you want to be a Bugstomper?

The Bugstompers started out as a group of friends who wanted to form a team based on a common set of goals. From this simple beginning, the team has grown to an organization that is both respected for setting a fine example within the paintball community and has been recognized as such by some of the top names in the paintball industry. Currently the team has been fortunate enough to attract a growing list of sponsors and is one of only a handful of teams globally sponsored by Tippmann Sports LLC. The team has set some firm standards for recruitment in order to continue to meet the needs of our sponsors; raise our standard of play and maintain our commitment to the sport on and off the field.

Regular Squad, Reserve Squad and Alumni.

The Bugstompers consist of three categories of players.  

Regular squad members are full time players who fill a role on the team and benefit from all the team sponsorship arrangements.

Reserve squad members are either new players doing their probationary period or former fulltime members who can no longer meet the requirements of a regular position.

Alumni Players are former Bugstompers who still come out occasionally and we always enjoy their ongoing company.

Recruitment

The Bugstompers recruit new players from within the membership of the Alberta Milsim Group. In identifying new players, we look for the following:

Consistent attendance at AMG training days and milsim events

Commitment to a high standard of play with a focus on teamwork over individual performance
